Excuse Me Your Life is Waiting

Excuse Me Your Life is Waiting - one of the best books I have read.

It is funny, totally inspiring and can change your life. Lynn Grabhorn wrote this in 1999 and it became an immediate hit. It even appeared on the New York Times bestseller list.
What she talks about makes perfect sense and the stories from her own life, that are a big part of this book, show that she is really on to something. This book is about attracting what you want into your life and how to do that.

Most "self-help" books discuss how to think and have positive thoughts. Lynn talks about having positive feelings. There is a big difference and an important one. Thoughts are important, but it is our feelings that really set things in motion.

Most of us have a tendency to focus on the negative and the lack of things. That focus creates emotions and feelings that will attract people, things, situations, etc that are on a similar "wavelength." The trick is to shift the focus to what feels uplifting, exciting and positive. It would seem to be the most natural thing in the world to do, but for most people it is something that takes quite a bit of practice.

I can do this at certain times but still haven't mastered this to only have in my life what I really want. I know though that it works as I have seen the results in my life quite a few times. Results that come from positive as well as negative feelings. When you start noticing this, it is very empowering. This book made it clear to me, without a doubt, that I am responsible for what I have in my life. I cannot really blame anyone. :)

Lynn Grabhorn passed away a few years ago but her books (she has written several books) are still "going strong." Excuse Me Your Life is Waiting is definitely a book that I would recommend to anyone and it can be re-read many, many times.
