Reincarnation and past lives

Many of us can sometimes feel that we have a deja-vu - something seems very familiar and it feels as if we already have experienced the same situation before. Reincarnation is the belief that the human soul never dies but just passes through a succession of lives. Reincarnation is vital to Hinduism and Buddhism

Years ago I read a book called "Yesterday's Children" by Jenny Cockell. I already believed in reincarnation and that we live more than one life (anything else seems very foreign to me) but this book was interesting as it showed how a young woman in the US remembers a past life that she had in early 20th-century Ireland. This is a true story that also was made into a movie with Jane Seymour. The movie was actually based on the second book called "Across Time and Death" but named after the first book. Jenny Cockell became famous for her books and the movie and many people got a glimpse into the reincarnation concept.

Already when I was 11 or 12 I came into contact with the reincarnation concept and it seemed very natural right away. Why would we only live one life? That did not make any sense to me. As a psychic clairvoyant I have seen past lives that I have had as well as clients' past lives. It is fascinating and I am amazed every time I come into contact with these previous life times.

Some people are skeptic and want proof. This is probably one of those areas where we most likely cannot get scientific proof but just have to go with our intuition and gut feeling.

Life changing books and movies

Books and movies can sometimes have profound and life changing effects on a person's life. One book had that effect on my life.

When I was around 10 a good friend of my family suggested that I would read the book "The Silver Chair" by CS Lewis - in Swedish it is called "Silvertronen" (I could not read English very well when I was that young so I read the Swedish edition). It is one of the books in the Narnia series.
The woman who let me borrow her book had a strong intuition and obviously knew that this would be a very good book for me to read as a young girl.

This book started my spiritual path and was the starting point for everything that I am today. Not bad for one book. ;) On some level this book triggered memories of things that I already knew and things I wanted to know more about. It ignited a spark inside of me that has guided me to be on a spiritual path ever since.

Later I read all the Narnia books and loved every one of them. When the movies came out I watched them with great joy. The first movie "The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe" was fantastic to see. I did not care about the underlying Christian message that triggered reactions in many people but just enjoyed the magic of the book that was very well captured in the movie. What the book I first read (The Silver Chair) reminded me of was the magic that is everywhere and that we are a part of it. I have always had this feeling that magic is more natural than "non-magic."

Another book that also changed my life is "Excuse Me Your Life is Waiting" by Lynn Grabhorn. This is what I wrote about that book. A completely different kind of book but it has the same quality of lighting a spark and it also shows the magic we can have in our lives.

I will come back to other books and movies that have had a big effect on my life and that are truly inspiring.
