Taking Charge of Your Fertility

This is the title of a book that I wholeheartedly can recommend to both women and men. This book is written by Toni Weschler and has been a bestseller for many years.

The information in the book can be used to help become pregnant or to prevent pregnancy. I read this book many years ago and was surprised to find out how little I really knew about my own body. It gives detailed information how to chart a woman's fertility cycle and how to keep track of the times when a woman is fertile.

The book gives many stories how women and couples have been misinformed by "regular" doctors how to count e.g. when a baby was conceived or when a woman is fertile. The "myth" is that women's menstrual cycles are 28 days and that ovulation takes place on day 14. In this book that myth is shattered. When you understand that a cycle can be much shorter or longer you can take charge of your own fertility.

This book should be used in schools and be taught at women's clinics. That is how good it is.
